TO ASSIST THE SENIOR PASTOR IN THE AREAS OF CONGREGATIONAL CARE AND TO PROVIDE ADEQUATE ASSISTANCE FOR THE GENERAL WELL BEING OF EVERY MEMBER WITH COMPASSION, ATTENTION TO DETAIL, FOLLOWTHROUGH, AND A SPIRIT OF EXCELLENCE.
What this involves (Ministry Coordinators)
· Prepare Sign-In Sheets for Ministry Volunteers
· Lead Instructions and Give Announcements at Morning Prayer
· Stakeholder of Worship Timeline
· Stakeholder of all Member Service documentation
· Operator of Member Services Station.
· Facilitate face to face transactions of tithes and offerings.
· Coordinate with all Ministry Team leads to assure adequate inventory and supplies are properly dispersed.
· Coordinate with all Ministry Team leads to assure that assure that all inventory and supplies are properly collected and stored.
· Retrieve credit card machine from finance team.
· Adequately settle/close out credit card machine and return it to finance team.
· Assist Children’s Church and New Members Ministries with proper coordination and set up of areas to service those ministries.
· Assist with Facilitation the New Member Picture Taking Process
· Assist with Facilitating Communion Distribution (1st Sundays Only)
· Give Date and Time for the next Starting Point/New Members Orientation
· Provide Connection Cards for those seeking to unite with the church via the Member Services Station.
What this involves (Baptism Team)
· Assist with Baptism Candidates Sign-In Process
· Assist with Changing Areas and lining up candidates in order of sign-in
· Assist with Baptism Candidate Picture Process
· Assist with the distribution and collections of towels, and wet items.
· Assist with Baptism Candidate designated seating for worship services.
· Assist with Baptism Certificate Distribution Process
What this involves (Baby Dedication)
· Assist the family in designated seating for baby dedication worship service.
· Assist the Pastor in distribution of Baby Dedication Sacraments
· Assist the Pastor in distribution of Baby Dedication Certificates
What this involves (Comforters)
· Assist the Pastor in care and concern of those who have experienced grief and loss.
· Extend a call of care, concern, and condolence in the first 24 hours upon notification of death by the executive staff.
· Attend services and memorials of those members of the church who have lost loved ones.
· Distribute sympathy cards, telegrams, condolences, and resolutions on behalf of the Senior Pastor and Church.
· Make home visits to the bereaved family, and take food or necessities on behalf of the Senior Pastor and Church.
· Speak to offer heart-felt sympathy and condolences during remarks portion of the family hour/memorial service on behalf of the Senior Pastor and Church.
· Make follow up call within 30 days after funeral/memorial service to remain in contact with the family.
· Submit Transition of Life Assessment form to the Office of Pastor for filing.
